Meet the Innkeepers
innkeepers

“We do our best to make your stay private, comfortable, and memorable at our unique, historic lakefront inn. Please let us know if there is anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable.”

Janice and Jim opened Lake Ripley Lodge in the summer of 2004 after discovering what they lovingly call “the prettiest spot on Lake Ripley.” Janice, a lifelong Cambridge resident, was thrilled to return to the lake after years spent living and raising their family in Arizona.

As Cambridge natives and former teachers, Janice and Jim enjoy sharing the history of the property’s earlier days as Maple Villa and local stories from the Cambridge area — including notable Lake Ripley figures such as Ole Evinrude and Harley Davidson.

They enjoy fishing, kayaking, golfing, innkeeping, local history, and traveling, and they look forward to welcoming guests to the peaceful lakeside setting they call home.
